Mr Nuts is offline

What can Mr. Nuts do?

He can:

  • Review your profile title
  • Review your profile text
  • Review your proposal
  • Spot scams
  • Help you answer various question regarding freelancing and Upwork

…but only if you give him full context! That means that you have to take the time to explain the situation in full and copy-paste all the materials for him to read.

He cannot:

  • Extract information behind a link, e.g. to your profile or a job post
  • Do the work for you, e.g. write you a perfect proposal, profile, etc.
  • Assess the situation he cannot perceive as plain text

Bad examples

Here are bad examples that you should not expect Mr. Nuts to help you with. He’s smart, but not that smart. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Too generic stuff

Can you help me?

He would love to help you, but you are not providing any context whatsoever, so he’ll probably guess you want to know about freelancing since you’re on this site. You will get generic advice as your question is generic.

Vague stuff

My client is bullying me, what should I do?

You’re not giving any information about what this bullying is in reality, where and when it happens, etc. Too vague.

Indirect stuff

Help me write a proposal for this job, please: https://www.upwork.com/jobs/~01234567890123456789etc

He cannot see what is behind the link, so most likely, you will only get generic tips on writing proposal on Upwork.

He is also a bit reluctant to ask for more information which is why your questions should be as complete as possible. Yes, it does mean you need to type them in properly! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good examples

This is something Mr. Nuts might be able to truly help you with! Provide enough context and you will get some help!

Is “Web Developer” a good Upwork profile title?

Should I start my proposal with “Dear Client”, is that OK?

My client on Upwork is asking me to pay a small amount before starting the project. Is this a scam?

Is this a good proposal for a WordPress web development job? “Hello Client, I am a freelance web developer with 5+ years of experience. My services are: web development, WordPress development, software development. I’m happy to jump on a call to assist you in your project!”

What are the benefits of becoming a CoachLancer member?

Asking complete context-specific questions will give you useful answers.

And if it seems that Mr. Nuts isn’t fully understanding your situation, copy-paste your previous question, expand it with more details, and ask again! He’ll be happy to assist you.
